CMR Group offers a broad range of components for hay-making and harvesting machinery. This machinery includes:
The gearbox is powered by a pulley fixed to the shaft-support, which is driven by the PTO drive shaft. The housing with the output shaft is directly connected to the first gear in the transmission trough.
Gearboxes for this application: series B and serie O
The PTO drive shaft used for this application requires a free wheel device
The gearbox is powered by a hydraulic motor, both for turning the machine base and for the rotating plastic film holder.
The PTO shaft for this application is without torque limiter
The gearbox is powered by the PTO drive shaft. The ring gear is fixed directly onto the housing and by turning, enables the arms to extend outwards, thereby repeatedly raising and lowering the spring-holder arms.
Gearboxes for this application: series S
The PTO drive shaft for this application requires a ratchet torque limiter
Powered by the PTO drive shaft via a fixed shaft, the gearbox transmits torque to the first chain gear connected to the compression chamber mechanism. In cutting versions, the gearbox with the second shaft powers the branch connected to the bladed rotor. These cutting versions may include an idle device which can be activated when the cutting rotor need not work. The disengaging device can be applied outside the gearbox. CMR Group gearboxes can also be equipped with an internal lever-controlled disengaging device. The CMR Group solution effectively simplifies the mechanics, thereby increasing the efficiency of the machinery, since the device installed inside the gearbox benefits from constant lubrication.
Gearboxes for this application: series L, series RB and series T, with or without free wheel, as required by the customer.
The gearboxes are usually installed inside the frame structure of the machine. CMR group offers innovative solutions featuring gearboxes with load-bearing extensions which totally or partially replace the frame structure of the round baler. Besides the mechanisms for fastening to the frame structure of the machine, the load-bearing extensions are also fitted with drawbar attachments. The PTO drive shaft used for this application is a standard wide-angle type which must always be fitted with a torque limiter. There are two possible options, depending on the user’s requirements, either the shear bolt or the clutch friction torque limiter with cupped spring washers. This type of limiter is recommended, as it guarantees the 50 mm. minimum overlap, between the shaft cones of the machine and the PTO drive shaft protection, an essential feature required by the EC Machinery Directive
The distribution box in the centre of the machine is powered by the PTO shaft and connects to extensions carrying the primary bevel gear pairs located at the sides, by means of the through-shaft. The primary bevel gear pairs transmit rotational drive to the outermost bevel gear pairs (secondary, without through shaft) in sequence, by means of fixed shafts and double universal joints. Each bevel gear pair has a plate to which the spring-holder arms are fixed.
